Primarius provides a variety of solutions in supply chain management across many industries including -
• Transport Companies and
• Field Service providers.
Primarius’ OMS Inventory Optimisation solution enables importers to maximise their utilisation of working capital. The system produces stocking plans for every product in every location based on maximum stock turns driven by supply plans created within the system by the Importer. Importers can utilise OMS to anticipate demand, creating forecasts for product and then determine what needs to be bought, when and in what quantity so as to optimise the available funds allocated to be spent. OMS’ forecasting capability allows collaboration with suppliers so that demand forecasts can be shared, leading to possible reductions in lead-time, minimum order quantities and item costs.
Primarius’ Product Sourcing solution, coupled with our presence in China, may enable importers to find better suppliers who can deliver on time, in full, with improved reliability and reduced lead-time and cost.
Distributors – Wholesale and Retail
The OMS Inventory Optimisation solution comes to the forefront in allowing product distributors to stock the ‘right’ products, in the ‘right’ location and in the ‘right’ quantity, to maximise customer service levels at the most optimum level of inventory investment. OMS’ inventory management capabilities dramatically improve stock turns and warn of potential out of stocks and overstocks. It manages inventory at all locations and provides detailed performance information on every product so distributors can gauge sales forecasts and understand projected revenue and margin levels for ranges, categories and items. This information can be vital to perform range management and construct sales budgets. OMS enables the distributor to plan and execute promotions and new product launches, ensuring sufficient stock will be available on time and providing a highly visible environment to control planning events.
Primarius can assist manufacturers in two critical areas –
1. Via OMS, improve forecasting and materials management of both raw materials and finished goods. OMS can ensure inventory will be available in the most cost-effective quantities to allow production to be carried out according to plan, and
2. Via Primarius’ Manufacturing Flow Optimisation solution, identify and solve potential production bottlenecks and increase efficiency by introducing advanced planning and scheduling capabilities.
Our OMS Inventory Optimisation solution provides a Distribution Plan, identifying which products need to be transferred to other locations – stores or warehouses – to maximise customer service levels.
Primarius’ Vehicle Routing Solution is a standalone vehicle scheduling and routing solution which allows transport companies to optimise their utilisation of trucks and drivers and also allows the business to dynamically plan the most efficient routes for their drivers to use.
The Vehicle Routing Solution is capable of managing many constraints, optimising the mix of vehicle types, drivers’ skills and availabilities, product volumes and type, delivery locations and time constraints to optimise and route transport schedules. The system has a Google Maps interface and GPS tracking capability.
Field Service and Repair
Field Service companies who provide equipment installation or repair services or conduct field tasks such as training, merchandising, meter reading, surveys or similar face significant difficulty in trying to continually schedule and maximise resource allocation in the face of constantly changing variables. Resource availabilities change, customer requirements alter and companies must still deliver the contracted service at the agreed rate despite these changing circumstances.
Primarius’ Resource and Route Optimisation solution is a powerful optimisation engine which enables service companies to solve these scheduling problems and manage every-day planning constraints dynamically and efficiently. The solution dynamically routes for available assets based on all the constraints available, providing the business with daily tasks and schedules, with routing instructions and turn by turn delivery maps, all of which may be instantly replanned and rerouted based on changed circumstances.
